Wait wait wait…we can explain. It’s the dawn of Ibiza’s closing parties for season 2013 and shit’s getting unexpectedly carnal. A toilet pit stop supposedly reveals two femmes getting frisky in the cubicle, until the more adventurous of the two of us perches herself on top of the basin to peer over the top to see what the crack is (I know, dirty perve right?). What we discovered was a pleasure seeker going solo, moans ‘n’ all. Fact or not, we suddenly had a moment of clarity, as Oprah calls it. A floor below Apollonia duo Dan Ghenacia and Dyed Soundorom were teasing the dancefloor towards an orgasmic climax. And true or not, we were convinced the build up had got so intense she’d made a b-line for the bathroom to finish herself off.
And so this blog is dedicated to those moments, tracks, sets, whatever that inspire such mental, instinct-driven behaviour – sexually orientated or otherwise.
And with this we leave you with Baikal’s face scratchingly-good re-rub of Thor’s ‘Sky Over Reykjavik’. While it may not have sent us rushing to the nearest cubicle when we first heard it rinsed by Tale of Us at ENTER in Ibiza this season, it definitely inspired an orgasmic groan or two.
Love this track as much as us? Thankfully after months of waiting it was finally released yesterday on Connaisseur Recordings and you can buy it here from Beatport: http://www.beatport.com/track/yellow-sky-over-reykjavik-baikal-remix/4734666
